Kesang Wangchuk (Deputy Chief Forestry Officer)

I have a B.Sc. in (Forestry) from College of Natural Resources, University of Bhutan, Lobesa, Punakha in 2013 and PG Diploma in Wildlife Management from the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun in 2006. I have completed three years Diploma course in Forestry from Natural Resources (CNR) training Institute at Lobesa in 1997.

I joined Department of Forest and Park Services at Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park in 1997 and worked there for last sixteen years. After successfully clearing the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (RCSC) in 2013, I got transfer and placement at Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment. Currently, I work under Department of Conservation Biology. I am generally interested in ecology of large mammals and their management.
