I am a Senior Forestry Officer at the Ugyen
Wangchuck Institute for Forestry Research and Training (UWIFoRT), Bhutan, with
an academic foundation in Forestry from the College of Natural Resources,
Lobesa. Since joining the civil service in 2020, I have played a pivotal role
in forest conservation, wildlife research, and sustainable forest management.
My expertise spans agarwood cultivation, GIS mapping, forest pest management,
and scientific research, with over 10 peer-reviewed publications on Bhutan’s
biodiversity, including the rediscovery of rare species like the Arunachal
Cascade Frog, Primula species, and the Bhutanitis ludlowi butterfly
