I have a two years certificate course in General Forestry (1989-1991) from the then Bhutan Forestry Institute, Taba, Bhutan. I have also attended a yearlong certificate course in forestry (2004-2005) from the BOKU University, Vienna, Austria.  

Since my service appointment in 1991 at the then Forest Research Division, Taba as a forester I have been working with the forestry research.  I specialize in nursery management and forest seed science technology.  I have strong interests to propagate native and rare plant species for conservation.
