Gyeltshen (Forest Ranger I)

I hold a Diploma in Forestry from the College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, and have developed a strong interest in ornithology, botany, wildlife photography, ICT, and GIS mapping. My notable field milestones include the historic camera-trap documentation of a Royal Bengal Tiger in Biological Corridor 7, recording Bhutan's first national sighting of the European Roller in Tangmachu, Lhuentse, and publishing four peer-reviewed research papers accessible at https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9949-4738.

Currently, I work with the Education and Capacity Building Services Center as the institutional focal point for the Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART) and the Forest Information Reporting and Monitoring System (FIRMS).
