The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment will be organizing Training of Trainer on program ‘ReNamer’ on 24^th January 2014. This training of trainer is designed as training workshop to work on camera trap data management using software ‘ReNamer’.  It will be participated by the Forestry Officers and Data Managers of parks and territory divisions.

Prof. Jim Sanderson, a developer of the software will deliver the training. The program ‘ReNamer’ has capabilities to extract all the data features of the camera trap picture and to organize and analyse data. This training workshop is timely, as we have been intensifying the camera trapping exercises in the country and would generating large volume of data.  This training workshop is expected to ease the manual input of data which otherwise is the case.

All the participants are expected to bring their own laptop and camera trap pictures for training workshop.
