Third Forest Management Unit (FMU) Seminar
The 3rd FMU Seminar begun in Phuntsholing from yesterday (5th February 2014). The Forest Resources Management Division (FRMD) and the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE) jointly organize the seminar.
The seminar brings all stakeholders together and provides platform to discuss issues and challenges faced during the implementation of FMU management activities and come up with possible solutions and strategies to overcome the problems. The seminar will also provide field staff an opportunity to discuss and learn more about development of FMU management plan.
The seminar is attended by unit incharges and unit managers of all FMUs, planners from FRMD, managers from the Natural Resources Development Corporation Limited (NRDCL), and researchers from UWICE and RNR-RDC Yesupang and Darla.
The 3 day seminar will be ended on 7th February 2014.
