The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment is pleased to announce “YES” (Young Environmental Scholar’s) internship program for 2014 and seeks to hire two interns for a period of 6 months (w.e.f 1^st April to September). The interns will be attached to ongoing research, training and other programs at the Institute.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Preference will be given to science graduate)

Facilities and Incentives: Free lodging will be provided at the institute campus in Lamai Goempa, Bumthang and will be paid a monthly stipend of Nu. 6000/- and daily subsistence allowance of Nu.150/- per day while on tour.

The applicants should submit following documents to training@uwice.gov.bt  latest by 10^th March 2014.

The selection interview will be held on 17^th March 2014 at the UWICE Unit Office, Thimphu.
