The Second Local Stakeholder Workshop for the 14^th International Society of Ethnobiology Congress was convened by Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE) on 1st April 2014. Workshop participants discussed and formulated coordination plans and mechanisms for efficient organization of the event.

The day-long workshop was chaired by the Dasho Dzongdag of  Bumthang Dzongkhag. Stakeholders from relevant local organizations/institutions (RDC Jakar, NFFDP, Bumthang Forest Division, CMU, TNP, WCP), Dzongkhag Administration, Royal Bhutan Police, Jakar Higher Secondary School, GYT Chairman, Hotel Association of Bumthang Chairman, Business Community Representative, heads of four gewogs and Wangdi Chholing Hospital participated in the workshop.
