Selected Candidates for International Course on Environmental Economics

The UWICE is pleased to announce selected National and International candidates for International Course On Environmental Economics from 12th to 16th May, 2014.

A five-days intensive course on environmental economics will be offered at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment in collaboration with the Conservation Strategy Fund based out of the US.  The course will cover the following topics:

  • Micro-economics (1/2 day)
  • Environmental economics (2 days)
  •  Cost-benefit analysis (2 days)
  •  Best practices in infrastructure policy management (1/2 day)

The course will be taught by Professor Jorge Madeira Nogueira and Dr. John Reid.
