International Course on Environmental Economics Began On 12-05-2014

An international course on Environmental Economics began yesterday at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment. The training is being implemented in partnership between Conservation Strategy Fund and UWICE. It is a five days training and will end on 16th May, 2014.

There are 3 participants from Nepal and 2 from India in addition to 20 Bhutanese.

The course is being taught by Professor Jorge Madeira Nogueira from the University of Brasilia, Irene Burgues from Costa Rica and Mikhail Miklyaev from Russia.
