The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE) is providing a three-day technical training on long term climate and hydrological monitoring, meteorological data management and analysis. The participants will also be taught on how to develop the climate scenario and the use of hydro-meteorological data for climate change vulnerability assessments.

More than 25 participants include water and climate focal persons from various Parks, Research Institutes and Colleges from across the country are attending the training.

The training is conducted with the objective of building the capacity of Bhutanese natural resource manager in these topics. Mr. Chimmi Dorji from Bhutan Water Partnership is resource person for the training.

The training is funded by WWF Bhutan Program through Asia High Mountain Project in Bhutan.
