Vacancy Announcement
As per the approved notesheet no. UWICE/IUCN-01/2015-2016/692 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE) under the Department of Forest and Park Services would like to hire the following number of Bhutanese nationals for the given vacancies for a period of one year under the IUCN funded Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme in Royal Manas National Park:
- Project Supervisor
Vacancies available: 1
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelors in Forestry/Natural Resource Management/Environment ( MSc Preferred)
2. At least 15 years of experience in project management and administration
Benefits: Salary-Nu.25000, DSA-1000/day
- Project Assistant
Vacancies available: 1
Minimum Qualification:
1. Class 12 passed
2. No experience required
Benefits: Salary-Nu.12000, DSA-500/day
- Enumerators
Vacancies available: 2
Minimum Qualification:
1.Degree in Forestry/Environmental Science/ Life Science
2. No experience required
Benefits: Salary-Nu.15000, DSA-500/day
The office will be based in Bumthang at the UWICE campus. Candidates are expected to be medically fit and be able to undertake rigorous field work. If performance is found satisfactory, the contract will be extended for a maximum of 2 more years.
