Basic GPS and GIS Training
The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research (UWICER), Bumthang will be conducting basic GPS and GIS training from 10th to 14th February 2020 at Lamai Goempa, Bumthang, Bhutan.
Therefore, we invite interested foresters from across the country who don’t have previous GPS and GIS skill and knowledge to avail this training opportunity. The training is aimed towards enhancing knowledge and skill of the foresters of Bhutan in the proficient use of GPS and GIS software.
The interested candidates are requested to apply online with your CV at trainingunit@uwice.gov.bt before 12:00 PM, 31st January 2020. The final shortlisted candidates will be informed through email on 3rd February 2020. We will be able to accommodate a maximum of 26 participants for this training.
The training participants will be provided with two-time refreshments, a working lunch and a daily allowance (DSA) but not TA as per RGoB FRR-2016. The training is been funded through REDD+ project.
