A group of 12 students and 3 faculties from the ‘Where There Be Dragons’, the United States are at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment Research (UWICER) campus, for Bhutan: Environmental sustainability and community happiness program. The group arrived on 21 st February 2020. During the program, they will explore and learn Bhutanese way of life in rural Bhutan and experience living with Bhutanese household to deepen their knowledge of livelihood. They will also learn some of the ethnobotanical use of our natural resources. Besides, they will attend various research talks delivered by the researchers of the institute on the environment and various conservation efforts undertaken by our country.

The program is hosted by the Institute (UWICER), Department of Forests and Park Services, Lamai Goempa, Bumthang. The group will be returning back to their country on 17^th April 2020.
