News | Posted on 2023-02-17

20 foresters from Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park, Royal Manas
National Park, and Zhemgang Forest Division are participating in a two-day
training on primate survey methodologies at Tingtibi, Zhemgang, followed by a
week-long data inter-observer reliability test in their respective field
offices. By the end of the training, participants will be able to coordinate
and assist socio-ecological studies on primates, as well as use the same
protocols when collecting field data using online data collection applications.
The training is part of the citizen scientist capacity development
component funded by USAIDS, the NAS, and the PEERS project.
