The ongoing selection process for the upcoming 17th Batch of the NCIII Course reached a key milestone today with the successful conduct of the physical endurance evaluation.
Following the initial academic shortlisting of 94 candidates (47 women and 47 men), a total of 71 participants reported to compete in the mandatory 8 km physical fitness run. The timed trial took place between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM along the Chamkhar-Gongkhar route in Bumthang.
Candidates who completed the 8 km course within the strict one-hour time limit demonstrated the required physical fitness standards. These successful runners have officially qualified to advance to the final stage of selection: the viva-voce on the 9th of June, 2026.
