Forester Trainees imparted Skilling knowledge on high altitude Vermicomposting

Trainees were given hands on training on high altitude vermicomposting today. They were taught on theoretical as well as practical aspects of vermicomposting.
A total of 220 kgs of Vermicast was harvested giving due care not to injure the Red Wiggler worms. After the harvest, a new bedding was made and the tub restocked.
Vermicomposting was initiated as a part of kitchen waste management program through a WWF Bhutan funding.
