The Jigme Singye Wangchuck Outstanding Environmental Stewardship Award honours individuals, groups and institutions from all backgrounds for a lifetime of contribution towards ensuring the security and sustainability of Bhutan's pristine environment. The 3^rd award will be conferred on the 1^st of June 2014 coinciding with the opening ceremony of the International Ethnobiology Congress at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment in Bumthang.
