A half-day Local Stakeholder Workshop for the 14^th ISE Congress was convened by Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE) on 28th May 2014. The workshop was chaired by the Dasho Dzongdag of Bumthang Dzongkhag. More than 30 participants from local organizations, Institutions and other relevant organizations attended the workshop.

Workshop participants discussed and reviewed the resolutions of the previous workshop and further discussed plans and mechanisms for efficient organization of the event. The Chairman of the Congress said that the major issue during the event would be to have backup power supply. The Bhutan Power Corporation Manager has agreed to provide full support.

Dasho Dzongdag, the Chair of the workshop, emphasized the importance of providing full support to the organizers and working together to make the event a success.
