A three-day ‘International Glacier Symposium’ is under way at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment. World class leading glacier experts from around the world together with national experts are taking part in the symposium.

Honorable Minister Lyonpo Yeshi Dorji opened the symposium yesterday in the Daphne Hall. 

The symposium will take stock of our current state of knowledge about Himalayan Glaciers.
