Announcement on Wildlife Photography Workshop

The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment would like to invite interested wildlife photographers within the country to kindly register for an upcoming 10 days Wildlife photography workshop to be held at UWICE from the 10th of May, 2015.

The workshop will combine talks on all the basics of photography, composition and post-processing technique and edit-and-critique sessions with photo shoots in the field. An introduction to DSLR camera trapping technique, lighting and photo shopping will also be given.

We have only 10 slots. The shortlisted participants will be informed accordingly. You will be required to bring a DSLR camera with you for the workshop. Three meals per day and accommodation will be provided but no DSA shall be paid.

Our resource person will be Mr. KSharmaalyan . He is a wildlife photographer, filmmaker, naturalist and explorer specializing in environment, science and ecology in India. He also freelances with many of the world’s leading magazines, environmental NGOs and television channels like Nat Geo and BBC.
