The Bhutan Ecological Society (BES) will be holding its Third Annual Research Symposium and Environmental fair from 27-28 August 2015 at Hotel Druk and Clock tower Square in Thimphu. This Public Benefit event will be dedicated in commemorating the Sixtieth Birth Anniversary of Fourth Druk Gylapo for his glorious services in Himalayan ecosystem.

We would be most grateful if you would kindly participate in this important event, to share and discuss on conservation. Exhibition booth may feature photo, information or display on work or program related to conservation of Bhutan’s natural heritage and environment (e.g., School and community programs, environmentally friendly business ventures, research activities, arts, etc.).  Posters and oral presentation for day-long research symposium may describe ongoing or completed work in any focus area below:

·         Sustainable livelihood (include human-wildlife issues)

·         Waste Management

·         Energy resources

·         Biodiversity conservation

·         Climate change

·         Agricultural Science (Includes domestic livestock and crops)
