The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment is pleased to host a two-day Library Symposium on 24^th- 25^th, December, 2015, at Lamai Geompa, Bumthang.

The overall mission of the symposium is to help improve library development, services and to strategize sharing resources within libraries in the country. The two-day symposium includes training sessions on library resources, systems and best practices, and will offer participants an opportunity to build professional networks with other library workers.

Accordingly, we would like to invite interested librarians within the nation to attend the symposium.

Participants will be provided working lunch, refreshments and accommodation facilities at the Institute. However, the travel and daily allowance must be borne by the parent organizations.
