The  3rd batch of Nature and Eco-tourism course successfully concluded today with awarding certificates at the Institute (13th January 2017). The certificate awarding ceremony was graced by Officiating Director Mr. Sangay Wangchuk and all the faculty members and staff of the Institute have attended the occasion. Officiating Director, on his keynote address, advised graduates to make best use of the knowledge and skills gained through this course and contribute in conservation of our nature.

During the one and half month course, trainees were taught basics in identification of plants, mammals, butterflies, and birds. While at the Institute, trainees were involved in the mist netting program. To gain hand-on experience in taxonomic skills, the institute organized field excursion led by the experts from the institute in six different Dzongkhags.
