Mr. Shacha Dorji assumed charge of the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research as Specialist Head (officiating) w.e.f 17^th July 2017 as per the new organogram and staffing pattern approved by the RCSC vide letter no. RCSC/HRDM/7/2017/2253. The faculty and staff attended the ceremony where outgoing Director Nawang Norbu handed over the charges to Mr. Shacha Dorji.
