Regional Boot Camp on Wildlife Study Design and Data Analysis

The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research (UWICER) is organizing a 10 days Regional Boot Camp on Wildlife Study Design and Data Analysis in collaboration with the Biodiversity Conservation Society of Sarawak (BCSS), Malaysia from 18th September 2017. 24 participants are currently attending the training at Gelephu coordinated by Regional Centre for Tiger and Cats research. The participants are from various conservation and research institutions from Bangladesh, Nepal, India and Bhutan. 

The boot camp is intended for people who are involved in wildlife research using techniques such as presence/absence surveys or mark-capture or those who need to understand the results of this research. The training will end on 29th September, 2017 and it is the 2nd Boot Camp organized by the UWICER and funded by Bhutan Foundation and IUCN.
