The UWICER is conducting a chainsaw training to the employees of the NRDCL from 29th October to 2nd November 2018 at Lamai Goempa. Bumthang. The training includes both theory and practical on chainsaw operation and maintenance.

The occupational health and safety, and basic silviculture practices in Bhutanese forest management context will also be taught during the training. A total of 19 NRDCL employees are attending a 5 days training program.

This is a second training series by NRDCL for their employees gearing towards enchancing the capacity of their employees.

The first training was on the basic GPS and GIS operation.
