Dragons land in Bhutan for Field Course
A group of 12 students along with three faculty members from the ‘Where There Be Dragons’, United States are in Bhutan from 3rd July 2019 for three weeks field course. This field course on Happiness in the Bhutan Himalaya will enable them to explore and learn Bhutanese way of life in rural Bhutan. They will also get to experience living with household in central Bhutan to deepen their knowledge on typical rural Bhutanese livelihood. Besides, the students will be learning on the environment and various conservation efforts undertaken by our country.
The field course is hosted by the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research (UWICER), Department of Forests and Park Services, Lamai Goempa, Bumthang. All the students will be returning back to their country on 26th July 2019.
