The Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research (UWICER) is pleased to announce the results for the 10th batch National Certificate II and III forester courses. The top 25 candidates were selected based on their class X marks and after having completed the 8 KM marathon. The two years NC II and III two years forester course will be for the academic year 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.

UWICER aims to contribute towards achieving higher standards of statistical data analysis skills amongst the wildlife biologists in the SAARC and South Asian Region. We collaborate with professionals at www.bcss.org. This year, a specialized training workshop on “Bayesian Analysis in JAGS and R ” is scheduled from 11 – 22 September 2018. The workshop opening reception is in the evening of the 10th September 2018.
