UWICE faculty, Nawang Norbu and Tshering Tempa gave a seminar at the North Carolina State University on the 23rd of September and at Yale on the 25th of September.

The talk was titled: "Bhutan: The Last Himalayan Biodiversity Refugia"

The talks emphasized on the astounding biodiversity of Bhutan and argued that Bhutan will be key to protecting some of the last remnants of forests and species therein within the eastern Himalayas.
