The management of Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Forestry Research and Training (UWIFoRT, DoFPS) would like to express our hearty congratulations to the 5 intern students pursuing B.Sc Environment and Climate Studies at College of Natural Resources (CNR), who recently completed their two month internship at UWIFoRT. Throughout the internship, the students were exposed to a diverse range of environment topics, including fauna, flora, biodiversity, dendrochronology, pest & disease management.

Additionally, they gained proficiency in various software application such as GIS, CFMF, SW map and Epicollect5, they were also imparted with the skills in research writing and scientific publication. The students Nima, Pema Choden, Jigme Tamang, Pema Yangzom Tamang and Tenzin Jamtsho have demonstrated

exceptional dedication, enthusiasm and diligence during their internship. Their motivation and dedication to acquiring new knowledge were evident throughout the internship period.

The management would like to thank them for their valuable contribution and also wish them all the best in their future academic and professional endeavors.
