The SMART training is being conducted from 18th -22nd March at UWIFoRT, Bumthang.

The training focuses on set-up, installation of SMART software in laptop and mobile phone, creating conservation area, strategic patrol planning, building queries, data collection and report generation for SMART decision support. The program comprises of both theoretical sessions and field practical to enhance

participants' learning. The participants consist of staff from Division Forest Offices and Protected Areas under Department of Forests and Park Services (DoFPS).

The training which is being funded by IKI (international Climate initiative), WWF-Bhutan is attended by 24 participants (23 male and 1 female) from the field divisions and protected areas under DoFPS.
