Five-Day Training on Project Development and Management for Forestry Leaders in Punakha

A five-day training on Project Development and Management
is underway at Zen Punakha. The program, which began on August 20, brings
together Chief Forestry Officers from 14 Divisional Forest Offices and 10
National Parks across the country.
Experienced lecturers from the College of Natural Resources
(CNR), Royal University of Bhutan, are delivering the training aimed at strengthening the capacity of forestry leaders in developing, managing, and
implementing projects effectively, thereby supporting Bhutan’s conservation and
sustainable resource management goals.
The training is organized under the initiative of the Ugyen
Wangchuck Institute for Forestry Research and Training (UWIFoRT), with the financial support of IKI-WWF.
