YES Internship Program 2016-2017

The Institute is pleased to announce Young Environmental Scholar’s (YES) internship program for undergraduates students (four interns). The 6 months full-time internship program will start from September 2016 till the end of February 2017. Upon selection candidates will be engaged with researchers at the Institute in various fields to assist research program and help coordinating seminars, trainings and conferences organized by the institute.

Selected Candidates for the Post of Enumerators

The following are the selected individuals for the post of enumerators for the IUCN ITHCP socio-economic survey in Royal Manas National Park. Due to enormous number of applicants, the selection was very competitive and preference had to be given to native khengpa speaking individuals as the study area lies within Zhemgang Dzongkhag. The selected candidates are asked to report to Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment by the evening of 10th June, 2016. You are also requested to carry your own field gears which includes sleeping bags, mats and other important assessories. The team will leave for Zhemgang on 11th June.
